Joan Phyllis Hulford

JoAn Phyllis Hulford, age 91, passed away on January 16, 2024.
She was born in Bellingham to Horace and Mary (Hayes) Cupples on November 4, 1932. JoAn graduated from Bellingham High School in 1950, and married the love of her life, Gene Hulford, shortly after graduation. JoAn spent many years working at the family business, Hulford Electric.
JoAn enjoyed attending her husband’s many softball games, and spending time with him in Maui. In addition to being a loving wife, she was also a wonderful mom, grandma, and GG. She took pride in making a warm and loving home for her family and was known for the hundreds of Christmas cookies she made every year.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and her sister, Mary Jean Provias.
JoAn is survived by her three children, Kim (Jim) Hulford-Williams, Jan (Brian) Humphrey, and Val (Donna) Hulford, grandchildren Tara Hulford, Lacey (Jason) Lutjemeier, Tye (Breann) Hulford, David Williams, Hillary Williams, and Jason Humphrey, as well as four great-granddaughters.
At JoAn’s request, no services will be held, and a private burial will be held at a later date at Greenacres Memorial Park.
She was so very loved and will truly be missed.
