Kathi Kay Hanson

Kathi Kay Hanson, of Bellingham, WA, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was 55, born in Bellingham to Betty A. (Miller) and William E. Todahl, Sr. A lifetime resident of Whatcom County, Kathi married Stan W. Hanson on February 16, 1979 in Bellingham. She was an avid gardener but what was most important to her was her family. Kathi was preceded in death by her mother Betty in May of 2003 and her brother William Todahl, Jr. in October of 2014. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Stan; her children, Dustin Hanson and Sara Hanson; father William “Bill” Todahl, Sr.; sisters, Susan Featherstone; Rosanne “Tudi" Todahl-Day and brother Rick Todahl and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice. A Celebration of Kathi’s Life with reception will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2015 at Westford’s Broadway Hall, 1300 Broadway St. in Bellingham.
