Al Fitzsimmons, age 70 passed away peacefully Saturday, July 23rd in Bellingham. He was born May 30, 1941 in Fruitland, Idaho to Bird and Amy Fitzsimmons. Al was a hardworking and dedicated man. And he was a loving husband who deeply cared for his wife and his entire family. Al enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Al was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Marivic, son Aaron, daughters Jodi and Julie, sister Edie, brothers Bill and Del, step-son Jimmy, 5 grandchildren, and a large and loving family. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home in Bellingham on Wed. July 27th at 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Assumption in Bellingham on Thursday July 28th at 10:30 AM followed by a lunch reception at Westford’s Broadway Hall, 1300 Broadway. Services will be held at on Saturday, July 30th at 10 AM at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, 112 N. 9th Street in Payette, ID. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. A reception will take place at Park Community Church, 98 Holly Road, Ontario, OR.
