Anna J. Dawson

Anna Dawson, age 91 of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2015. She was born September 21, 1923 in Mount Vernon, WA to Andrew and Signa Marie Eliason, immigrants from Norway.
She graduated from Mount Vernon High School and married Kenneth Dawson in 1941. Anna and Ken enjoyed fresh and saltwater fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling and feeding visitors at their home. They were lifetime members of the Elks Club and members of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She will be remembered for her gregarious personality and her open heart.
Anna was preceded in death by her sisters Edith, Camilla, Esther and Margaret. She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Ken; sons Rich Dawson (wife Marlene) and James Dawson, grandchildren Lance (wife Wendee) and their son Tanner, Jed (wife Krishelle) and their daughters Kenzie and Kaydee, and Brent (wife Tina) and their daughter Jenna.
Memorials may be made to the Mount Baker Kidney Center.
A Celebration of Anna’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 17th at 2 PM. Reception following across the street at Westford’s Broadway Hall.
