Anna Southas went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2019 in Bellingham. Anna was born December 14, 1926 in Bellingham, WA to Thomas and Helen (Raptis) Lallas, and had two brothers, John and Louis Lallas. Upon graduation from Bellingham High School she attended the University of Washington and later worked in the office of the Bloedel Donovan Mill. In early 1947 Anna met the love of her life, Spedo Southas. They were married on October 12, 1947 and had two children, Tom and Pamela. Anna spent many years raising their children and providing support for the entire family. When the children were older she went to work at Western Washington University and ran the Administrative Office of the College of Business and Economics. Anna and Spedo were active members of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. She enjoyed passing time and talking with her children and grandchildren, who cared so much for her and dearly loved her. Anna will always be remembered for her deep rooted love of family, her faith and her abundant generosity. She is survived by her son Tom (wife Virginia) Southas of Bellevue, daughter Pamela (husband John) Olbrantz of Salem, OR, grandson Aaron Olbrantz of Bellingham, granddaughter Sarah Olbrantz of Nashville, TN, brothers John (wife Georgia) Lallas of Eugene, OR, and Louis (wife Evelyn) Lallas of Bellingham, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Helen and, her husband Spedo. Memorials may be made to the National MS Society at

. A Trisagion Prayer Service will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 7:30 PM on Sunday, February 3rd. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 510 E Sunset Dr., in Bellingham at 10 AM on Monday, February 4th. Committal will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
