Betty I. Grothe passed away in Stanwood, WA on November 26, 2016. She was born in Ponsford, MN on February 20, 1931 to Richard and Bernice Fitch.
Betty was an avid flower gardener and was especially proud of her roses.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry “Hank” Grothe and sister Joyce Lucht. Betty is survived by her daughter Linda (Jerry) Card; son Lee Grothe, 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Arliss Strandberg and Carol Lucht; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital, Seattle, WA. Services will be held 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Westford Funeral Home with a reception following.
