Betty Hogg

Betty Hogg, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 25, 2017. She was born April 26, 1922 in Moro, Oregon to Homer and Jennie Belshee. Betty was a faithful and devoted member of Bellingham Bible Chapel for decades, where she taught Sunday school and played the organ and piano, and her husband Joe was a minister. As a volunteer teacher with Child Evangelism, Betty impacted the lives of many children. Betty was an active and loving mother and grandmother who was involved with her grandkids lives and loved her family dearly. She will be remembered for her friendly, positive attitude, and her wonderful smile. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Joe, daughter RosaLee, and siblings Russell, Arthur, Leila and Baby Eva. She is survived by her sons David Connery (Linda Cowen) and Bill Hogg (Laurie Hill), grandchildren Caryn, Matthew, John, April, Tim, Amber and Joe, sister Winifred Ritchie and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18th at 11 AM. Reception following. Memorials in Betty’s name may be made to the Lighthouse Mission Ministries.
