Bobby R. Bishop, age 56, passed away at home in Bellingham after fighting pancreatic cancer for almost two years. He was born December 4, 1953 in Jellico, TN to Bobby L. and Judy Bishop. Bobby was known for his extremely dry sense of humor. He was proud of his job at BTC, and considered his co-workers to be his family. He was a model human being, always generous and willing to help others. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his cat, Mr. Bill. He is survived by his brother Jack (wife Patricia) and their children Jacob, Jennifer and Jessica, and sister Jan Needler. Bobby was thankful for the physicians and staff here in Bellingham and at Virginia Mason in Seattle, who helped and supported him during his illness. A family gathering will be held.
