Brandon Tharaldsen Delahoyde passed away at his home on May 19, 2012. He was born in Bellingham on April 10, 1989 to Denis and Carol (Dartnell) Delahoyde. Brandon was a graduate of Squalicum High School in 2008. Brandon was a young man with many passions for nature, history, mythology and music. He had been active in swimming, ice hockey and downhill skiing. He participated in Boy Scouts for many years, where he loved the canoeing, fishing and swimming and most of all the camaraderie. Brandon was a talented and thoughtful writer and delighted family and friends with his wicked sense of humor. He loved the family farm where he spent time in the woods and on the river. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents; Harrison and Irene (Kennedy) Delahoyde, and Jack and LaVerne (Oldaker) Dartnell. He is survived by his parents, Denis and Carol, brothers; Justin Delahoyde of Bellingham, John (Misti) Lee of Ferndale, and Ron (Laura) Lee of Bellingham; aunts Lorraine Delahoyde of Vancouver, WA, Keven (Larry) Satterlee of Bellingham, uncle Ed (Diane) Dartnell of Mt. Vernon and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Brandon will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank Brandon’s doctor, Milan Banjanin, for all his care and compassion. A Celebration of Brandon’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Thursday, May 24th at 3 PM.
