Carolyn June Allen

Carolyn Starr Allen, age 79, passed away peacefully in Bellingham on Monday, May 21, 2018. She was born January 23, 1939 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Willard and Helen Starr. She served in the US Navy from 1957-62. She dearly loved her family and did everything she could to attend her kids and grandkids events. Carolyn was strong, courageous, and kept a positive attitude throughout her numerous health challenges. She will be dearly missed. Carolyn was preceded in death by her first husband Ron Allen, second husband Ed Anderson and son Rod Allen. She is survived by her son Kevin (Ava) Allen, her companion Gordon Seelye, and many loving relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ferndale at 1 PM on Friday, June 1 followed by a Celebration of Life with military honors at 2 PM at Westford Funeral Home.
