Catherine D. "Cathy" Preston

Cathy Preston, age 67 of Bellingham, went to be with the angels May 19, 2016. She was born March 8, 1949 in Hibbing, MN to Lyman and Frances Glidden. She was one of 15 children.

Cathy dearly loved her family, especially her 2 daughters and grandchildren. She worked for many years at Alderwood Park Health and Rehab. Cathy enjoyed gardening, music, dancing, beaches and warm sunny days and will be remembered as a fun, loving and compassionate person. Cathy is survived by 2 two daughters, Tawnya (Ray) Wilson of Bellingham and Teresa (Mike) Stanton of Puyallup; 4 grandchildren, Skylor, Kelsie, Hayley and Madison; 2 great-grandchildren, Logan and Colton; 9 brothers and sisters, Carolyn Glidden, Barbara Galley, Michael Glidden, Dennis Glidden, Eugene Glidden, Kevin Glidden, Raymond Glidden, Shirley Spinelli, and Geraldine Collyard, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Gregory, Richard and Thomas; and 2 sisters, LaDonna and Theresa.

Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home from 2-4 PM on Saturday, June 11th.

A service of remembrance will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 1 PM on Sunday, June 12th. Reception following at Westford’s Broadway Hall.
