Cathy A. Adkins

Cathy A. Adkins, age 55, passed away peacefully at home in Bellingham on January 25, 2017.
She was born in Bedford, PA, to Gerald and Nancy (Sierer) Showalter.

The family spent the next years in Indiana. After graduating high school she moved to California. There she met her former husband, Loren Adkins, with whom she had two children, Kayla and Adam Adkins. They were her pride and joy. She was a devoted mother. Cathy loved being creative. Her favorite mediums included nature photography, painting, ceramics, and hand making jewelry that she sold through local businesses. She was passionate about working on cars, spending Christmas with her children, and had a surprising list of favorite musical artists, ranging from Pitbull to Cher.
