Charles O. Zeiger

Chuck Zeiger, age 90, passed away peacefully at Whatcom Hospice House on Sunday, February 9th. He was born November 13, 1929 in Bellingham to David and Charlotte Zeiger. Chuck married Ann Sluys on August 24, 1948 in Bellingham. He worked at a number of local saw mills and later retired as a millwright at GP. Chuck enjoyed woodworking, wood turning, and breathing life into old rusty engines. He was a talented painter, artist and craftsman. Chuck loved the outdoors and enjoyed building, walking and hiking the trails of Whatcom County. He was preceded in death by his daughter Deborah. Chuck is survived by his loving wife Ann, sons Howard and Donald Zeiger, grandsons Adam and Luke Zeiger, great-grandchild Indigo Zeiger, and many loving relatives and friends. A service of remembrance will be held at Westford Funeral Home, 1301 Broadway St. at 11 AM on Friday, February 14th. A reception will follow. Interment will be held at Bayview Cemetery.
