Christine Catherine Flacco

Christine Catherine Flacco, age 73, went home to her Lord and Savior on February 8, 2018. She was born August 28, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA to Walter and Margaret Eppright. Christine eloped with Nicholas Flacco to Chesterfield County, SC and they married on February 2, 1964. Soon after their marriage was blessed by the Catholic Church. Together they raised their children, Tim and Nicol, and later enjoyed traveling, sailing, golfing and attending Church of the Assumption. Christine was a fine artist and was known for her watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings. She was an active member and volunteer with the Sudden Valley Golf Club, Sudden Valley Garden Club and the Whatcom Art Guild. Christine will be remembered for making others happy and her positive outlook on life. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Walter. Christine is survived by her husband of 54 years, Nick, two children, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was also dearly loved by Nicol’s husband Derek. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Assumption at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 15th. A reception will follow at the Church. Fr. K. Scott Connolly will be officiating.
