Christos Tselios, age 70 of Bellingham, passed away November 3, 2014. He was born November 3, 1944 in Agriani Serron, Greece to Petros and Astero Tselios. He immigrated to the United States in 1969 and married his loving wife, Stella in 1970. They settled in the Philadelphia, PA area where they started a family. The family moved to Bellingham in 1993 and operated a number of restaurants including Christos, Chuckwagon and IHOP. Christos was an active member of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. He was selfless, humble, honest, a light in his community, and will be missed by many. He lost his battle with cancer and is now at eternal rest with The Lord. He was preceded in death by his wife Stella in 2005, son Peter in 2006, and siblings Olga, Konstantinos, Evangelia and Ioanna. Christos is survived by his son Steve (Angelina) Tselios and their children Stelliani, Marianna, Christina, and Petros and daughter Star (Evans) Vagelaras and their son Rizos. A Trisagion Service will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 7 PM on Thursday, November 6th. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church on Friday, November 7th, followed by burial at Bayview City Cemetery and a reception at the church. Memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice and St. Sophia.
