Cleopatra J. “Cleo” Kotsogeanis, age 88, of Bellingham passed away July 27, 2016. She was born December 12, 1927 in Kyparissia, Greece.
Cleo married George Kotsogeanis in 1955, and was a long-time member of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. Cleo was loved by many and will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity. She loved playing with her four grandchildren, and loved making them french fries. Yaya was special. She was a great wife, mom and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband George; brothers Christos, Panagiotis (Pano), and Athanasios, and sister Konstantina (Dina). Cleo is survived by her sister Eleni Pavlopoulou of Greece, sons John (wife Maria) and Lou, both of Bellingham; daughter Vicky (husband Luca) Comai of Davis, CA; grandchildren Alex, George, Elias, and Demi, and many loving relatives and friends.
Trisagion Services will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, August 2nd at Westford Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 3rd at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. Committal following at Bayview Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church.
