Clyde Lee May

Clyde Lee May, of Bellingham, WA, passed on Thursday, June 30, 2022. He was 88, born in Tacoma, WA on October 29, 1933 to Fred Lafayette and Sophia Selina (Palmer) May. Clyde married Dixie Lee Beard on February 15, 1958. He spent several years traveling the United States with Dixie on the back of his motorcycle and an all-time favorite activity was looking for agates on the Oregon coast. Clyde was a bit of a rock hound in his earlier years as well. He and his brother spent hours hunting for rocks, accumulating quite a collection over the years. Preceding him in death was his wife, Dixie; and siblings, Calvin, Dwayne, and Shirley. Clyde is survived by his children, Tammi May, Linda May-Turner and her husband Tad Turner, and Michael May and his wife Lenette; six grandchildren, Cammie, Tara, Raina, Chase, Ashley, and Ryan; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dessie Luby and Dorothy Scott.
