Connor Rae Leib passed away on July 7, 2016. He was our son, our brother and friend to many who came to know him and grew up with him. His roots were in Whatcom County and he made his way through the many trails and areas where he loved to skateboard.
Connor loved to be outside from the time he was a small child growing up in the county. He made friends wherever he went with his infectious laugh and beautiful smile. He always planned on seeing the world, but sadly it was just not in the cards for Connor. Life has been cut short and there are so many factors that came into play for this to happen.
It is a crime against nature when parents have to bury a child. This is a crime that will be with us forever. Connor, we love you. You will never be forgotten and we will cherish the time that we had with you. You are special in so many ways but it was always difficult to make you understand this. We hope that you are finally at peace.
Connor is survived by his parents Robert and Jamie, brothers Brenden and Jorden, grandfather Larry Travis, and many loving relatives and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorials in Connor’s name may be made to NAMI Whatcom, 1212 Billy Frank Jr. St., Bellingham, WA 98225.
