Dana Bauer

Dana Bauer, age 84 of Bellingham, passed away on January 4, 2019 in Bellingham. She was born on June 23, 1934 in Miltona, MN to John and Florence Johnson. Dana was preceded in death by her husband Richard “Dick” Bauer and siblings Dean Johnson and Eleanor Peterson. She is survived by her daughters Marie Bauer-Woodard and Karen Hays (Mike), grandchildren Angela Frey (Van) and Karlee, Abby and Eli Hays, great-granddaughter Maya Frey, siblings Curt Johnson (Delores), Jim Johnson (Marze) and Adele Kerkof, and many loving relatives and friends. Dick and Dana moved from Woodinville to Bellingham in 1999. Dana was an active member of Good Shepherd Community Church. She enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her family. Dana was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. A graveside service with will be held at Enterprise Cemetery in Ferndale at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 15th. A reception will follow at the family home.
