Daniel Victor Earley, age 87, passed away on February 8, 2024 in Bellingham, Washington.
Dan was born in Bellingham on May 10, 1936 to Victor Earley and Audrey (Gwinnett) Earley, the oldest of 5 children. He graduated from Bellingham High School and then served in the U.S. Army. After his military service, Dan worked at the Bellingham fire department. He also did several other jobs, including working as a brick mason, truck driver, and ski patrol. During his youth Dan enjoyed roller skating and riding his horse, Tango. In his later years he enjoyed spending his time bicycle riding, which included the length of the Columbia River and the STP race, watching high school sports, going to the local sprint car and motorcycle tracks, and many local music venues.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Audrey, as well as sister Mary and brother Richard. He is survived by brother Dave, sister Susan, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 3 at 10:30 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2117 Walnut Street, Bellingham, WA, followed by a reception at the church. Dan will be laid to rest at a private family graveside service.
