Danny Lowell Raymond, 60, of Lummi Island, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family & friends on January 27, 2016. Danny was born to Lowell and Dorothy (Paul) Raymond of Seattle on September 15, 1955.
He grew up in Lake Forest Park & graduated from Shorecrest High School. From there, attended Cornish School of Allied Arts, which launched him into design & theatrical make-up. Working for a number of years as a make-up artist at Robert Leonard Salon in downtown Seattle gave him many opportunities to be the creative artist for which he was to so many, including celebrities.
Dan moved to Lummi Is. in 1997 where he was able to use his design ability and artistry throughout the homes of many island residents. His flair of ingenuity was boundless as an excellent artist, who had deep sensitivities to the beautiful things in life & spirit. Being a light-hearted, entertaining, and amusing person, he always showed us the happy side of life.
He was preceded in death by his father Lowell Terry Raymond. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Raymond, aunt Caryl Clark, brothers Paul and Terry Raymond, sister Kristi Kefgen, nieces Leah Kefgen and Julia Raymond, nephews Nick Kefgen, Per Michael Kefgen and many friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, February 20th at the Lummi Island Grange Hall on Lummi Island, WA.
