Darleen Joy Page, age 80, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2019 at her home in Bellingham. Darleen was born on May 6, 1939 in Renton, WA to Stanley and Grace (Nichols) Fitzpatrick. She married Cloid “Chuck” Page on July 11, 1959 in Renton, WA. Darleen graduated from WWU with a BA and MA in Education and taught at Roeder Elementary and Happy Valley Elementary. Darleen and Chuck have been active members of First Christian Church, the Elks Club, and the Old Time Fiddlers. Darleen and Chuck enjoyed travelling for many years throughout the US and Canada in their RV. They also went to the Panama Canal and Ireland, and took many special trips with close friends Max and Cheryl Perry. Darleen was strong, generous and caring and was a wonderful wife and mother. Darleen was preceded in death by her sister Mary Johnson, Mary’s husband Bill, and their son Stevie. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Chuck, her children Jody, Connie, and Curt Page (Paula Broiles), granddaughter Ashleigh Albert (Benjamin) and their children Tessa, Benjamin, and Jackson, siblings Nora Harrington, Laura Bronson (Jerry), Stan Fitzpatrick, and Steve Fitzpatrick (Rusty), special nieces Dotti Foster, Margaret Johnson, Diana Baggett, close family friend Jim Baggett, and many loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church, 495 E. Bakerview Rd. in Bellingham on Friday, December 6th at 1 PM. Reception following at the church. Rev.
