Darlene M. Parr

Lifetime Whatcom County resident Darlene M. Parr, age 78, passed away on Saturday, November, 4th, 2017 in Bellingham, WA at the Whatcom Hospice House. Darlene was born in Bellingham to Wesley and Agnes (Moxness) Zahnow. Darlene was a beautician, worked for the Bellingham Police Department Records Department, the Meridian School District and later for Simplot Foods. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend.
Darlene is survived by her children Sheri (Jim) Folsom and Michael (Pam) Mehler; her children's father Harold (Cindy) Mehler; brothers Leonard (Maurleen) Zahnow and Leroy Zahnow; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband Michael Parr, son Ricky Mehler, daughter Dori Melinda Parr, parents Wesley and Agnes Zahnow, brother Ray Zahnow and sister-in-law Florence Zahnow.
A Celebration of Darlene's Life has been scheduled for Friday, November 17th at 11am at Cornwall Church 4518 Northwest Dr. in Bellingham.
