David Florian, age 66, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015. He was born January 3, 1949, in Seattle, WA, to Walter and Dorothy Florian.
David was fun, boisterous, a great friend to others, generous, and loved life. David never met a stranger. He was a seafood connoisseur who enjoyed catching fish, smoking fish, and sharing fish with others. He was also an attentive and affectionate father to his three girls, teaching them how to golf, shoot, and taking them camping to Kalaloch, WA, every year to smelt fish. Kalaloch was a very special place for David as his father had taken him camping there in his youth and he always looked forward to sharing these memories with his “little princesses.” Full of entertaining stories told with great animation, David was cherished by his daughters, his life partner Wanda and her daughter Elon, and his numerous friends from all walks of life.
David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his life partner, Wanda Green, daughters Amy Henderson-Florian (husband Greg Reedman), Nina Wystup (husband Joe), and Autumn Henderson-Florian, sister Jeanie Udell (husband Jeff), brother Wally Florian (wife Vi), Wanda’s daughter Elon Marie Trimboli-Fields (husband Bill Fields), former wife Penny Henderson, and many loving relatives and friends.
A gathering to celebrate David’s life will be held at his home, 280 Alger Cain Lake Rd. in Sedro-Woolley, 98284 at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 28th.
