David Kanarr, age 83 of Bellingham passed away March 2, 2012. He was born May 8, 1928 in Shelton, WA, to Prescott and Helen (Stone) Kanarr. David graduated from Bellingham High School in 1946. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He fed the feral cats around his neighborhood and was known as the “catman.” He enjoyed drawing and when he was younger he painted. David was preceded in death by his brother John. He is survived by his sister Helen “Penny” Gaskill and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
