Dave Robinson, age 81, passed away December 7, 2013 in Bellingham. He was born June 10, 1932 in Bellingham to Walter and Mable Robinson. Dave graduated from Bellingham High School in 1950 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Carol Bird on March 23, 1956 in Bellingham. He managed his own service station “Dave’s Richfield”, worked at BB Auto Parts, and retired after 15 years in maintenance at ARCO Refinery. Dave and Carol enjoyed vacationing in their R.V. He enjoyed rebuilding car engines and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Roy, Bill and Jack Robinson. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carol, children Clayton (wife Dalene), Suzanne and David, grandchildren Gerath, Taylor, Abbie, Luke, Josh and Zach, sister Shirley (husband Ray) Grinstead, Carol’s sister Barbara Peterson and her sons Brian and Mike, and many loving relatives and friends. The family would love for you to come by and celebrate Dave’s life at Westford Funeral Home at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 18th.
