David A. Worrell, age 80, passed away April 18, 2013 in Bellingham. He was born October 16, 1932 in Stephensville, TX to Martin and Mary Worrell. David served in the U.S. Army from 1953-55. He owned and operated Dan-D Drywall with his son Dan for many years. He loved watching sports and spending time with his family and his dogs Tyson, Cricket and Sissy. David was preceded in death by his wife Tahwahnah, son David and brothers Jim and Bill. He is survived by his daughter Valenda (Neto) Rodriguez and their children Joey, Paul, Jeffrey, Jacobi and Netoya, son Dan Worrell and his sons Michael and Stevan, daughter Shari (Tony) Jones and their daughters Amy, Heather and Corinne, brothers Bob (Pat) Worrell and Martin (Dian) Worrell, his companion and “tulip” Margaret, his best friend and neighbor Ted, and many loving great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Whatcom Hospice and the nurses and aids at Walgreens Healthcare. A Celebration of David’s life with military honors will be held at Westford’s on Monday, April 29th at 11 AM with a reception following. Committal will follow at Lynden Cemetery.
