David Allen Yeager, former resident of Ferndale, WA, passed away October 25, 2017, at the age of 80 at his home in Auburn, WA. David was born on May 20, 1937, to Ezra (Joe) and Velma (Dyer) Yeager, in Concrete, WA. He graduated from Concrete High School in 1957, served in the US Navy from 1957-61 and worked for many years at Intalco in Ferndale, WA. David was preceded in death by his parents Ezra and Velma Yeager, brother Clinton, son, Rodney, stepdaughter, Jenny Braaten and grand-daughter, Tara Good. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family. He traveled with his wife in the US and Europe.
David is survived by his wife, Melva Yeager, daughter Tenna and (Danny) Gilbert Mt Vernon WA, sister Louie Messer, Sedro Woolley WA, Helen Jordan, Anderson SC, brother Frank (Bonita) Yeager, of Birdsview WA, Joyce (Bill) Olson, of La Grande OR. Grandchildren Jamie Gilbert, Eric Gilbert and Billy Jo Reese and great grand children Jonathan, Briana, Evan, Sonja and Delilah and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many others.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Bow Hill, WA, in the spring.
