Della Allen, age 78, passed away peacefully in Bellingham on September 10, 2016. She was born February 10, 1938 in Concrete, WA to Gurnie and Hope Stafford.
Della was a career caregiver who was passionate about helping others. She wrote and performed Gospel music and was able to express her strong faith through her music. Della was positive, always encouraging, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by husband Robert Allen in 2000, former husband Bill Calloway, sister Lorraine and brothers Warren and Donald. Della is survived by five children Kevin (Judy), Starrlet (Norman), Teresa (Tim), Kelly (Mary) and Cori, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters Carol and Rita, brother Michael, Bob’s four children, Linda, Brenda, Viola and Gary, and many loving relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Della’s Life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 24th at the Sedro Woolley Community Center, 703 Pacific St., Sedro Woolley, WA.
