Dennis "Dj" Wade Thatcher Jr.

DJ is survived by many friends and family, including his parents, Dennis Wade Thatcher of Canada, Casandra Ann Barton (Tom) of Mt Vernon, WA; siblings, Trish Wahl of OH, Beth Powell of OR, and David Thatcher of OR; grandpa John Barton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was a proud dad to Douglys, Nickolys and Taelor of Ferndale, WA and “Pop Pop” to all of his grandchildren whom he loved very much.
He had a love for music of all genres, golf, the NY Jets, and his friends. He was proud of being a journeyman sheetmetal worker for the union. Those who knew him loved him and would agree that he always had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He was always willing to lend a hand. The sudden loss of DJ has been devastating to all who knew him. The world could use more “DJs”. As we mourn the loss of DJ we remember his love, laughter, and sense of humor which will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
