Dolores L. Herrmann

Dolores Herrmann, age 87, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2018. She was born December 28, 1930 in Norwich, CT to Robert and Mary Spicer. She married George Herrmann on June 28, 1952 in Long Beach, CA. In earlier years she enjoyed downhill skiing, waterskiing and camping. Later she enjoyed traveling, quilting, canning, reading, genealogy, and helping her family build and remodel their homes. Dolores loved her three different homes on Lake Samish and was an active volunteer with the Lake Samish Fire Department Auxiliary and was a backup firefighter with the “Fire Belles”. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, George, three sons, Eric (Yvonne), Karl and Steve (Lidia), six grandchildren, Heidi, Brett (Emily), Austin, Markus, Blanka and Hanna, great-grandchildren Kaiya, James and Peter, sister Carolyn (Pinky), brother-in-law Richard (Erica), their cat Punkin, their Irish Setter Princess, and many loving relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Assumption on Monday, February 26th at 10:30 AM. Reception following at the church.
