Farewell Donna Jean LaBrec (Pevonak) Barron. Born in Elma, Washington to Victor LaBrec and Mable Elphick, Donna was witty, glamorous, a lover of champagne, chronically late, and always the life of the party. Multi-talented, she undertook many artistic endeavors in singing, fashion, painting, flower arranging, cartooning, drafting (Boeing), medical illustration (UW), and lighting design (Nemco). She worked with Westours/Holland America designing the interiors for motor coaches, ships, and the deluxe glass-domed railcars of the McKinley Explorer in Alaska.
Donna cherished the sea, her children, Brad and Susie, her grandkids, Roman and Max, family, friends, and devoted dog, Lulu.
Donna died in Bellingham with daughter Susie by her side.
A gathering in Donna’s honor will be held at her home in Shoreline on Sunday, September 19 at 3pm.
