Donna Jean Miles

Donna Jean Miles, age 96, passed away on February 6, 2023 in Bellingham, WA. Donna was born on June 20, 1926 in Bellingham to Harold and Richardetta (Owen) Baldwin. She was an only child. Donna grew up and went to school in Deming, WA. After graduating from high school, she met her future husband, Virgil Helton. Donna and Virgil were married after Virgil returned from service in the U.S. Army during World War Two. They had two sons, Russell and Harold. In late 1950 the family moved to Melvindale, MI and later Lincoln Park, MI. Donna lived in Michigan until the fall of 1985 when she moved to Bellingham, WA. After returning to Bellingham, she married Keith Miles whom she had known since high school. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Keith, and by her younger son, Harold Elliott Helton. She is survived by her oldest son, Russell Wayne Helton.
