Dorna B. Theaman

Dorna Theaman was born May 29, 1943 to David and Lottie Roslow in Brooklyn, New York where she grew up. Dorna studied anthropology at Hunter College and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Education. She taught kindergarten for more than 30 years at a Jewish day school. She and her husband Mark Theaman have been a couple for 46 years. Dorna had a kind word for everybody. She is survived by her husband Mark, a sister, Ilsa Schwartz (Allen), a sister-in-law Jane Harmon (Jim), a niece, Leah Medway (Richard), a nephew, Seth Schwartz (Pam), and many friends. A celebration of Dorna’s life will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Beth Israel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Whatcom Humane Society.
