Douglas Raymond White

Douglas Raymond White, lifetime resident of Bellingham, WA, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017. Doug was 73, born on August 3, 1944 to Herbert and Dorothy (Luke) White. He attended Bellingham Schools and graduated from Bellingham High School in 1962. Doug worked for the Washington State Department of Fisheries from 1965 to 2002. On July 12, 1969 he married Lorna Joy Compton at Central Lutheran Church. Doug was preceded in death by his brother Robert White and is survived by his wife Lorna; sons, Thomas Raymond and wife Dawn White and Andrew Lloyd and wife Angelika White; daughter Susan Laure-Mae and husband Andrew Monusko; two grandchildren; sister Doris and husband Einar Heyntsen; and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9th at Trinity Lutheran Church. A private burial was held at Bayview Cemetery.
