Earl Clayton Dahl

Earl Dahl, age 89, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital on Friday, November 18, 2016. He was born April 21, 1927 in Grand Forks, ND.
Earl served in the U.S. Army from 1945-48. He married Betty Roach on July 22, 1950 in Bellingham. Earl drove milk truck for his entire career, first with Darigold and later with LTI/Milky Way. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and chopping firewood and was a proud volunteer with the Van Wyck Fire Department for many years. Earl was the best dad and grandpa in the whole world and there is nothing that he wouldn’t have done for his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 2007.
Earl is survived by his four children, Barbara (husband Gailen) Hoy of Nooksack, Ellen (husband Danny) Williams of Sumas, Mike (wife Sandy) Dahl of Orofino, Idaho, Mea (husband Mike) Tyas of Bellingham, grandchildren Kathy, Brenda, April, Erica, Trisha, Jeff, Danny and Joelle, ten great-grandchildren, and many loving relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Monday, November 28th; Visitation 10:00 AM, Service of Remembrance with Military Honors at 11:00 AM. Reception following.
