Edith I. Wagner, age 88 of Blaine, passed away peacefully at Stafholt Health Care in Blaine. She was born June 12, 1922 in Lamington, NJ to Frederick and Mabel Wagner. In her early years, Edith was an expert dancer and was invited to dance with the NYC Rockette’s. She also played the piano well enough to be a concert pianist. As an R.N. she worked mainly as a private duty nurse as a companion to the rich and famous. Edith was a great, reliable friend and companion and a surrogate mother to Sandra Branch. She will be dearly missed.
