Elaine V Blake

Elaine Blake of Bellingham died peacefully June 6, 2018 at the age of 97. She was born on January 23, 1921 to Charles and Ruth Stahl in Fargo, ND. Elaine was a cook for several years at Birchwood Elementary and Shuksan Middle School. She and her husband Al spent many years camping and fishing. She will remembered for her love of gardening, fishing and playing cards. Elaine is survived by her children Judie (Norm) Helland of Friday Harbor, Pat (Roger) Cory of Burlington, and Jerry and Barry Blake. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Whatcom Humane Society, 2172 Division St, Bellingham, WA 98226. A graveside service to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale at 2 PM on Tuesday, June 12th.
