Ella F. Haydon

Ella F. Haydon, of Bellingham, WA, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Bellingham. She was almost 100, born in Lake City, SD to Alfred and Ella Stolle on July 11, 1916.

Ella was an active member of Cornwall Church, where she folded the bulletins for Sunday services up until she passed. Ella was preceded in death by her son Delbert Haydon, sister Florence Knaus, and brother Sherman Stolle.

She is survived her daughter Donna Smitham; sister Adelaide Speziale; former daughter-in-law Carole Hopkins; four grandchildren, Cindy Lowery, Shonn Haydon, Tom and Greg Smitham; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Whatcom Hospice and Carole Hopkins for the loving care given to Ella.

Memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2016, at Westford Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lynden Cemetery.
