Enid was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan on March 6, 1925 to parents Ethel & Harry Maxfield. She lived in the Vancouver area, moved to Bellingham in 1975, and returned to Abbotsford, B.C. in 2008. She loved to play golf, go bowling, and play cards with her friends. She especially loved to play games with her grandchildren and spend time with her family. She passed away in Abbotsford on April 2nd, 2011 at age 86, with family by her side. Enid will be sadly missed by her children, Larry, Carole (Bill) and Lorraine (Leo), 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, sister Betty Mae, her caring nieces and nephews, and many friends. Enid was predeceased by husbands, Ted Allanson (1973) & Kenneth James (1986), daughter Verne (1986), daughter-in-law Doreen (2005).

A Celebration of Enid’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20th at 1 PM followed by a reception across the street at Westford’s Broadway Hall.
