Erma Marie MacKinnon, age 91, passed away November 12, 2010 in Bellingham. She was born June 24, 1919 in Des Moines, IA to Ralph and Stella Smith.
Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Ross, son Robert, brother Walter and sisters Margaret and Rita. Erma is survived by sons David MacKinnon of Bellingham, and Stephen MacKinnon of Bainbridge Island, WA; grandchildren Ian and Emily MacKinnon and Leon Erickson along with their mother Christe MacKinnon, as well as niece Karen Kimsey, nephew Ed Wilson, and many other loving friends and family members.
Erma was a lover of life, cherishing the simple things. She proudly maintained her independence in her latter days. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church on Friday, November 19th at 10:30 AM.
