Eva Lopez Salazar

Eva Lopez Salazar, age 62, passed away the morning of March 10, 2023 in Everson, WA. She was born on August 9, 1960 to parents Raquel & Rosa Lopez in Guanajuato, Mexico. Eva lived in Everson, WA with her two youngest for the last six years. She was a devoted mother of four to Raquel Salazar, Robert Salazar, Anissa Salazar, and Ricky Lopez. She is the wife of Robert Salazar Sr. who passed away in 2007. They are now resting peacefully together forever. She is one of 11 brothers and sisters. She is Gigi to grandchildren Jose, Lalo, Evalina, and Javier, mother-in-law to Pancho, Jesua, and Virginia, fur mama to her beloved Aillo and Oso, and favorite friend, coworker, tía, cousin, and partner in crime! Her bubbly self and cheerful spirit touched the lives of many! She was a selfless person who put her children, family, and others before herself. She was a hardworking mother who worked many years and long hours to ensure her family had everything they needed and more. She enjoyed gardening, casino time, good food, music, dancing, laughing, and would never pass up a good time! Eva always left a lasting impression on those she met, whether it was an encounter that lasted only a day, or a friendship that bloomed for years. Eva’s joyful laughter, room-brightening smile, and easygoing way will forever be missed. She truly enjoyed every lasting moment life had to offer her.

The family invites you to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 12pm at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 205 12th Street in Lynden, WA. Committal will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park, 5700 Northwest Drive in Ferndale, WA. Reception to follow back at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Lynden, WA.
