Evelyn E. Dyvig

Born in Bellingham, WA to Alfons and Louise (Lovelace) Biendl, Evelyn passed away at home in Joyce, WA on June 13, 2022. Evelyn was married to Eugene Dyvig in 1945 and they resided in Bellingham where they raised their three children. A talented musician and lover of music, Evelyn played piano and guitar, loved to sing along, working in her yard, playing cards and ham radio. Her biggest joy was her family. She loved visiting them and when her mom, dad, husband and brother needed care she was always right there taking care of them. Evelyn was a longtime member of Assumption Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene; and siblings, Ardelle, Conner, and Wanda. Survivors include her children, Gale (Charlene) Dyvig, Shelley (Charles) Fuchser, and Kevin (Sandy) Dyvig; grandchildren, Joseph, Erin, John, Stephanie, Kimberly, Ryan, David, Valerie, Melissa, Jennifer, Christopher, and Sean; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 21 at 11:30am at Westford Funeral Home with a reception to follow. You may share memories at www.westfordfuneralhome.com .
