Evelyn Carol Pearson Fralick passed away peacefully on January 31, 2017. Evelyn recently celebrated her 100th birthday in December with her loving family and an abundance of friends.
A lifetime resident of Bellingham, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son Mark Pearson, husband Robert “Bob” Pearson and second husband Earl Fralick. Evelyn loved to read, cook, bake, and crochet potholders. She also loved gardening and flowers and once owned a flower shop in Bellingham. She loved writing letters; her handwriting was impeccable and writing letters and cards allowed her humor, wit and zest for life to shine. Evelyn was also an animal lover and her cat Stanley will surely miss her. While she outlived many friends and two spouses, Evelyn still had many friends.
Evelyn is survived by her three sons, Curt Pearson, Fort Pierce, FL, Douglas Pearson, Houston, TX and Eric Pearson, Plano, TX, her nieces, Kristin Pearson Franks, Karen Brown and Barbara Pearson, all live in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Seven grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren from the Pearson side survive her while Earl Fralick’s grandchildren, Patti Fralick, Nancy Clark and Janet Wheeler and numerous great-grandchildren also survive Evelyn. The family wishes to thank her loving, caring friends Roz Anderson, Barbara Davenport, Marleen Holland and many others including the wonderful ladies from Whatcom Hospice.
A reception with family and friends to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 3:00 PM. While Evelyn will be greatly missed, her family and friends take comfort in the wonderful memories of their mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
