Evelyn Marie Garland, age 86 of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2011. She was the second of fourteen children, born November 8, 1924 in Red Lake Falls, MN to Arthur and Maria Lizotte. Evelyn was an active member of Church of the Assumption. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Donald and 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons Jim Garland and Gary (wife Susan) Garland, daughter Vicki (husband Larry) Hale, 4 brothers and sisters, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a large extended family. She will be missed by her loving friends at the Deer Run Terrace Apartments. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, August 4th at Church of the Assumption.
