Frances P. Koshinz

Frances Koshinz, age 98, of Bellingham, WA passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016. Frances was born to Frank and Jane (Pakiz) Murn in Eagle, WI on September 5, 1917. She married Albert “Al” Koshinz in Palmyra, WI on November 20, 1941. In 1989 they moved to Bellingham where they became members of Church of the Assumption.

Frances enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. She was a committed and loving mother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by husband Al Koshinz and siblings Jane, Mary, Frank, George and Bill.

She is survived by her daughter Karen (husband Gary) Aven, sons Ron, Tom (wife Kuanjai), Dennis and David Koshinz (wife Sarah Clarke), grandchildren Beth, Lara, Dan (wife Heather) and Kristen, great-grandchildren Leslie, Toni, Natasha and Tyler, great-great granddaughter Johanna, brother James (wife Marge) Murn and many loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 2PM-4PM on Wednesday, June 8th at Westford Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 9th at Church of the Assumption. Committal will follow at Bayview Cemetery. Reception following at the family home.

Memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice or Church of the Assumption.
