Francine Myers, age 71, passed away on September 15, 2015 at home in Bellingham, WA. She was born November 1, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Thomas and Jennie Apostolos. She married Ralph Myers on June 18, 1966 in Indianapolis, IN.
Francine was passionate about life and enjoyed Japanese flower arranging (Ikebana), painting, entertaining and making sure her guests were happy.
Francine was preceded in death by her parents and her son Tom. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Ralph, daughter Maria and her husband and their two children, brother Tom Apostolos (wife Nancy), brother-in-law Phil Myers (wife Linda) and many loving relatives and friends.
Francine fought pancreatic cancer for three years with the help of many compassionate caregivers including the staff at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Cancer Center and her physicians, Dr. Patrick Nestor in Bellingham and Dr. Vincent Picozzi, a pioneer in Pancreatic Cancer Research. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 2 PM on Sunday, September 20th. Reception following across the street at Westford’s Broadway Hall. Interment will be in San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills, CA at 1 PM on Thursday, September 24th.
