Born in 1977, Gary spent his life brightening the lives of everyone that knew him. After two successful battles with cancer in his twenties, Gary passed away suddenly at home in Mill Creek, WA on June 25, 2013. Raised in Ferndale, WA and a graduate of Washington State University, Gary’s gift of connecting with people led him to a career in the beverage industry. His relationships with family and friends were everything to him, and nothing was more important than his twin boys Liam and Noah and fiancée Heather and her girls, Haley and Sydney. Gary will be remembered for his warmth, openness, caring and infectious smile. A prolific hugger, Gary overflowed with genuine love for everyone in his life. He will be deeply missed. Gary is also survived by his parents, Dean and Joyce Shintaffer, and brothers, Mark and Kurt Shintaffer and their families. A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday July 2nd at the Mill Creek Country Club. Memorial donations may be made in Gary’s name to The Madhouse Project (a charitable organization supporting cancer research and patient care) at PO Box 22667, Seattle WA 98122.
