George Herrmann, age 88, passed away on February 16, 2018 just eight days after his loving wife Dolores. He was born December 10, 1929 in Buffalo, New York to George and Theresa Herrmann. He married Dolores Spicer on June 28, 1952 in Long Beach, CA. George served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1951-53. He worked as a carpenter and cabinetmaker before earning his BA in Education from Cal State LA. George went on to teach and direct the precision woodworking and carpentry program at Everett Community College for 23 years. George is survived by his three sons, Eric (Yvonne), Karl and Steve (Lidia), six grandchildren, Heidi, Brett (Emily), Austin, Markus, Blanka and Hanna, great-grandchildren Kaiya, James and Peter, brother Richard (Erica), their cat Punkin, their Irish Setter Princess, and many loving relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial for both Dolores and George will be held at Church of the Assumption on Monday, February 26th at 10:30 AM. Reception following at the church.
