Georgia R. Clunk

Georgia R. Clunk, age 85 passed away peacefully on January 11, 2017 in Bellingham. She was born July 16, 1931 in Checotah, OK.
She married Jim Clunk on May 25, 1956 in Statesville, Georgia. During Jim’s 30 year military career the family lived around the US and overseas. They settled in Ferndale in 1970. Georgia worked as an RN at St. Joseph Hospital. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and lapidary, and was always caring and generous with her family.
Georgia is survived by her sons Bob and Jeff Clunk of Ferndale, brother Robert, nephew Tim, childhood friend Blanche, and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jim in 2011 and sisters Anna Rae and Mayverd Hogan.
Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 17th from 3 to 5. A Celebration of Georgia’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 18th at 11 AM.
